Established in 1997, Turbosmart was built on humble beginnings by CEO & Founder Nic Cooper, and it was his pure passion for race performance that led him to design the very first product, a BOV type 1, which was hand-crafted on a steel lathe, from a small garage in Sydney, Australia!

For many years the Turbosmart witnessed significant success on a local scene, and quickly established themselves as one of the most prolific brands amongst industry professionals. It wasn’t long before the Turbosmart businesses fame spread, and exports started into other markets. Turbosmart made the giant leap to bring its component machining in-house with the purchase of its first CNC lathe and machining centre. This was a necessary step to gain control of the growing quality, volume, and prototyping demands. Turbosmart now operates nine CNC machines 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and still uses those original two machines today!

Turbosmart is the concatenation of two words that symbolize what they want to achieve as a brand. In short, it is to make turbo control smarter. In conclusion, Turbosmart believe that every product they produce creates a new level of efficient boost control, prolonging the life of turbocharged cars.

Turbosmart claimed their first SEMA award in 2003, which was the same year as their debut. The Turbosmart business later expanded operations, establishing a North American office to handle US expansion, and over that time Turbosmart USA has taken on the race and aftermarket industry as one of the most reputable brands, extending the Turbosmart presence as one of the most trusted in the market.

In October 2012, 3p connect is started as a sister company to Turbosmart to help expand the ongoing demand for Australian manufacture of automotive parts into the USA. Then in August 2014, the Turbosmart Head Office Export Manager, Chris Milne took on the position of UK General Manager in the United Kingdom, which was the first step to establishing Turbosmart’s base of operations throughout Europe. Turbosmart continued to expand their dominance in boost control across Europe, and although the business was warned about a lack of market success for new competitors, Turbosmart forged ahead. Today, Turbosmart is still widely accepted as one of the best brands across the European market for high performance enthusiasts.

As of 2018 Turbosmart exports to over 50 countries around the globe, and continues to build up the accolades of industry awards from various associations, including taking a massive 6 Awards at SEMA 2018 for their revolutionary GenV wastegate range. From their humble beginnings to establishing ourselves as a global brand. Turbosmart is well on track to lead the future in turbo technology. Their engineers, build and track test all products in-house. Therefore, Turbosmart ensure they're continuously producing the highest quality blow-off valves, wastegates, boost controllers, gauges, pressure regulators, and hoses. For this reason, Turbosmart products are designed to be used on both track and street applications wordwide.

Today, Turbosmart still engineer, design and manufacture high performance competitive turbocharger accessories. Their turbo technology ensures intelligence & durability, and more importantly, Turbosmart's high-quality products ensure they prolong the life of turbocharged cars.

To be the most sought-after product across the world for forced induction car modifications is Turbosmart's vision. Their ultimate goal is to create innovative, game-changing technologies that push the boundaries of expectations and cause delight amongst new and existing customers alike.
